Grosset Pinot Noir 2022
An impressive vintage of this long-established favourite. There are riotous aromatics of brambles, briar and blackberries yet with lively red cherry and redcurrant flavours. It is soft, round, fleshy; medium-bodied yet intense, promising depth of flavour, wonderful intensity and pleasing length, encouraged by its soft yet noticeable tannins. Jeff says that there is more 115 clone this year and so it is not surprising that the wine has more weight and more brambly characters.
